This Image is by Ivor. The Mere, is very close to my heart in more ways than one.

I picked this one for it’s simplicity and high contrast, it’s depth of colour and the mood that it creates. I love the clean lines and how it draws me into the warmth of the set sun. There is a quiet stillness as the wildlife on the water settles for the night, just lit with the occasional sharp call.

This is an image was taken by Steve Womack on the very first night of a quick break to Saltburn by the Sea in May of this year.

The Pier was celebrating 150 year since it opened and a large firework display was organised for that very evening.
Got my card stamped and got in position early to hopefully get a good vantage point.

I believe I got a pretty good series of shots and this is one that I particularly like.
Not had a lot of success with this type of image in the past but it came together that night so doubly pleased.

This amazing image is by Carl Wiles.

This was taken last year at Cadwell Park during the British Superbike weekend of the eventual champion Leon Haslam.
